Good For

Not For
- Sidewall punctures — plug repair doesn't hold on sidewalls, period
- Punctures larger than about 1/4" diameter
- Run-flat tires or tube-type tires
- Permanent repairs — a shop patch-plug is the correct permanent fix; this gets you home
