Once you're working on fasteners above 1-1/4", you're past what a 1/2" drive socket set covers. Large lug nuts on commercial trucks, heavy wheel hub bolts, semi trailer hardware, large industrial flange fasteners — these live from 3/4" up through 2-1/2" SAE. A 3/4" drive socket is built with thicker walls and a larger impact surface to handle the torque those jobs require, where a 1/2" drive socket would crack or slip under a full-size impact wrench.
The VEVOR 3/4" Drive Impact Socket Set includes 29 SAE sockets from 3/4" to 2-1/2" in Cr-Mo chrome-molybdenum steel with a 6-point design and black phosphate finish. All 29 sizes in a molded storage case.
