Drilling clean holes through structural steel with a twist bit is a slow, frustrating exercise — work hardening, chatter, broken bits, and holes that aren't quite round. Annular cutters skip all of that. They cut a ring instead of a slug, so they remove less material, run cooler, and produce a clean, accurate hole in one pass.
