Wheel bolts have a torque spec for a reason. Under-torqued and a wheel works loose. Over-torqued and you've stretched the studs, warped the rotors, or cracked the hub — then you're dealing with that on the side of the road or paying someone to fix what should have been a routine tire rotation. The same goes for suspension hardware, brake caliper bolts, and any fastener with a published spec: guessing doesn't work, and "snug plus a little more" is how things break.

This is the VEVOR 1/2" Drive Click Torque Wrench, rated 25–250 ft-lbs (34–340 N·m), built from chrome-vanadium steel with a chrome-plated finish.

What's in the set

  • Torque range: 25–250 ft-lbs / 34–340 N·m
  • Drive size: 1/2"
  • Accuracy: ±3% (clockwise and counterclockwise)
  • 72-tooth reversible ratchet head
  • Laser-engraved dual-range scale (ft-lbs and N·m)
  • Material: Chrome-vanadium (Cr-V), six-stage heat-treated, chrome-plated
  • Overall length: 22 in (56.5 cm)
  • Includes: 1/4" and 3/8" drive adapters, extension bar, calibration certificate, storage case

Good for

  • Lug nut torque — most passenger cars spec 80–120 ft-lbs, well within this range
  • Brake caliper bolts and bracket bolts
  • Suspension fasteners: control arm bolts, strut mounts, ball joint nuts
  • Cylinder head bolts and engine accessory work in the mid-range

Not for

  • Impact use — this is a click wrench, not an impact wrench; don't put a gun to it
  • Fasteners below 25 ft-lbs — the low end of the range is where accuracy degrades; use a 3/8" drive wrench for smaller specs
  • Precision engine assembly requiring tighter than ±3% tolerance — that's a different class of tool

$52.68, ships from a US warehouse. If you're torquing wheels, brakes, or suspension hardware, this is the wrench to buy.
